Revised Covenants for Harrison Park
The board has revised the Harrison Park Covenants.
THE FOLLOWING IS THE SUMMARY OF CHANGES TO THE
HARRISON PARK HOMEOWNERS ASSOCIATION
RESTRICTIVE COVENENTS:
Preamble, Paragraphs One, Three, Four and Nine, refer to the interests of the developer or deal with new house design and construction.
All lots are developed, and so references to new construction are unnecessary and are deleted.
Exterior renovations are subject to approval of the Architectural Committee.
Items dealing with membership in the association, homeowners assessments, and roofline and driveway standards are given
their own paragraphs.
Paragraph Two (new): prevents homeowners from interfering with surface water drainage flow.
This is a common problem in subdivisions,
where homeowners fill in low areas and unintentionally create drainage problems for themselves or neighbors.
Paragraph Three: Clarifies that the Association's easement area consists of the center isle of the boulevard entrance.
The City has taken over maintenance of their easement area along Washington Street.
If we or they have problems with them doing so in the future, nothing would prevent the Homeowners Association from taking on that task.
Paragraph Ten: Duration of the covenants.
Our first version was required to remain unchanged for 25 years.
The revision, if approved will allow for the next revision in ten years.
